Speculation

还藏着偷来的羊毛球,却已醉得东倒西歪;

A recommendation

I would like to introduce you one of my favorite works: Tools And Other Works. I created it by color pencils because I always enjoy using pencils to do any job. As you can see, there are four objects on the drawing: a dividers, a plant, a letter β and a piece of work, showing the innate structure of eyes and floaters in eyes. Actually, I created this drawing because I was inspired by Renaissance and Leonardo da Vinci, a genius during 16th century.

Particularly absorbed in the history of Renaissance in Grade Ten, I realized that people in Italy started to combine science and art in the beginning of 15th century and new spirit, namely the right to self-create and self-appreciate life, was born. This is my background. Now let’s turn to the drawing.

The letter β represents not only the advance of printing in 15th century in Germany, but also the explosive spread of knowledge and methods about how to deal with natural science. Personally, I was greatly surprised and attracted by the first sight on a photograph of a page from Gutenberg Bible. Similarly, the paper and the dividers also show that anatomy became more and more important at that time, for the reason indicated by the plant. I idealize the image of the plant to give it the connotation in not only the field of botany but also of decoration. Plant, on one hand, was a subject which was easy to study because of its relative stability. On the other hand, different kinds of plants also inspired many architects to design the decorations of significant public facilities. In addition, in support of the development of art, most artists were also anatomists in Renaissance. They got (in some cases, stole) the bodies and dissected them in order to gain the first-hand information about human body. Correspondingly, you can see an imagination for the dissection and analyses about eyes showing on the brown paper. Since you have already been familiar with the subjects on the drawing, I also want to tell you my feeling about the overall impression by presenting them together. Having completed the drawing, I started to view it for some emotions. At the first sight, I felt a little weird because these subjects were seemingly independent. However, once I had realized their essential relationship (as mentioned above), I felt an influx of intricacy and novelty in my mind. And I knew that my original goal, namely to evoke a sense of deep history by conveying a set of specific subjects, had reached.

Sesame Street(40 years anniversary)

Sesame Street is an American educational children's television series and a pioneer of the contemporary educational television standard, combining both education and entertainment. Sesame Street is well known for its Muppets characters created by Jim Henson. It premiered on November 10, 1969, and is the longest running children's program on US television.[1] The show is produced in the United States by the non-profit organization Sesame Workshop, formerly known as the Children's Television Workshop (CTW), founded by Joan Ganz Cooney and Ralph Rogers.

As author Malcolm Gladwell has stated, "Sesame Street was built around a single, breakthrough insight: that if you can hold the attention of children, you can educate them".[15] Sesame Street was the first children's show that structured each episode and made "small but critical adjustments" to each segment to capture children's attention long enough to teach them something.[16]

Sesame Street uses a combination of animation, puppets, and live actors to stimulate young children's minds, improve their letter and word recognition, basic arithmetic, geometric forms, classification, simple problem solving, and socialization by showing children or people in their everyday lives. Since the show's inception, other instructional goals have been basic life skills, such as how to cross the street safely, proper hygiene, healthy eating habits, and social skills; in addition, real-world situations are taught, such as death, divorce, pregnancy and birth, adoption, and even all of the human emotions such as happiness, love, anger, fear, sadness, and hatred. Also, recently, the Sesame Street Muppets discussed the late-2000s recession with their most recent prime-time special Families Stand Together: Feeling Secure in Tough Times.

Coordinating "the clever use of Muppets and animation" with educational curriculum required what the CTW researchers called "careful thought"[17] and influenced the show's structure. For example, they had to decide how to distribute the letters of the alphabet throughout each 130-episode season.------From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Latino

I have found a typical context by Cicero quoted by Sir Francis Bacon in his Essays.

------The original version of Cicero’s words
